Upcoming Open HOA Meetings:
January 13th, 7:00PM
February 10th, 7:00PM
March 10th, 7:00PM
April 14th, 7:00PM (Pre-Annual Meeting)
May 19th, 6:00PM (Annual Meeting)
June 16th, 7:00PM (2nd Annual Meeting if needed)
If you would like to see an item added to the agenda, please contact the office at ELCA@verizon.net or 410-437-7309. This is especially important if you want to make the Board aware of an issue or are seeking a solution and want the Board to weigh in.
Additionally, the Board strives to allot enough time for open community discussion towards the end of the meeting - - but Home Owners are more than encouraged to have an item added to the agenda if there needs to be dedicated time to discuss.
- ELCA is planning a living shoreline and stormwater project to address the erosion we have seen at the waterfront. Construction will start in March of 2025
- Design of the living shoreline is almost complete and ELCA is applying for grants from the Dept. of Natural Resources and the Chesapeake Bay Trust to help defray some of the construction costs associated with the project.
- The community has been awarded a grant for this significant project, and there may be more in play. The elected board will have additional information during July, as permits are in process, and there is news to share.
- News will be shared with the community as it becomes available on the website, X (Twitter), and in meetings; as we are anticipating construction to start in November and December. More exciting news to come.
- This is a significant project for our community and it will continue to evolve, huge tip of the ball cap to Lisa Phipps and Kati Pope for speaheading this activity.
